Alongside new builds, we install solar systems from leading manufacturers and handle structural repairs — cracks, foundations, roof repairs, and thatch-to-tile conversions.
Alan, the founder, personally inspects every site himself before quoting. He's been doing this since 2004 — starting with thatch roofs and pool builds, then stepping up into full home construction from 2009 when the company became CT4.
There's no middleman: when you call, you reach Alan or Amanda directly. The same two people who quote your project run it through to handover.
Every quote comes with a per-line cost breakdown so you can see exactly where each Rand goes — materials, labour, finishes, and compliance. No padding, no vague "miscellaneous" line, and no surprises mid-build.
We hire labour from the communities around our project sites and train them on the job. Many of our bricklayers, plumbers, and drivers started as general site labour with us.
Every project we build is NHBRC registered and signed off by independent consulting engineers. You walk away at handover with the Form 4, the Certificate of Compliance for solar, and whatever else the bank or council needs.

NHBRC registration means each new build is enrolled, inspected at key stages, and covered by the NHBRC's five-year structural warranty.
The CT4 service area covers all of Gauteng — including Pretoria, Johannesburg, Centurion, Midrand, Sandton, Kempton Park, Krugersdorp, and surrounding suburbs. The company is based in Pretoria and travels daily for site visits, builds, and solar installations across the province.
Turnkey solar means a single contractor handles every stage: load assessment, system sizing, electrical work, panel mounting, inverter and battery setup, and the Certificate of Compliance (COC) at the end. Both residential and commercial properties qualify. CT4 installs systems from leading manufacturers — Luxpower, Sunsynk, Deye, and others — with lithium battery backup.
A CT4 project runs through four stages: an on-site consultation with the founder, a costed written quote with a per-line breakdown, the build itself with regular status updates direct from the founder, and a handover that includes engineer-signed certificates and any compliance documents the bank or municipality requires.
Structural maintenance and repairs are part of CT4's scope. Common projects include crack repairs, foundation remediation, roof repairs, and thatch-to-tile roof conversions. All structural work is carried out under the same NHBRC and SANS 10400 standards as a new build.
Quotes are issued after an on-site visit at no charge. Alan inspects the property to assess scope, finishes, and any structural or compliance considerations. A written, line-itemised quote follows within five working days. There is no obligation to proceed after receiving the quote.
